Majestic Legends Sports Private Limited (MLSPL), based in Mumbai, is an Event Management Company that promotes social causes through sport. Over the years, we have been at the forefront of conducting events and activities with a noble cause attached to it.
Sport, as we all know, is a powerful tool that unites communities and often plays a key role in spreading social awareness. We experienced it first hand through our flagship event, the Road Safety World Series, a Twenty20 League featuring global superstars of the game with Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Brian Lara, Kevin Pietersen, Brett Lee, Shane Watson, Ross Taylor, and Jonty Rhodes leading the way.
The concept aimed at reducing the number of casualties on Indian roads received an overwhelming response from the first match, played before a packed house at the Wankhede Stadium, until the grand finale at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur.
The opening season of Road Safety World Series was held when the world was hit by a raging pandemic, COVID-19, yet it rarely affected the enthusiasm of all stakeholders, be it our partners or sponsors, fans and not the least the legendary players. It took us two years to complete the season but it laid a solid foundation to our long-term plans of conducting this series for the next 10 years. Season 2 that concluded in October 2022 was another step towards making the event a permanent fixture in the international cricket calendar.
The Road Safety World Series, obviously is the jewel in the crown for us at Majestic Legends, and it has come on the back of a series of events that we have been conducting since 2016.
The stepping stone to the Road Safety World Series was an exhibition match held in 2018 to reduce noise pollution on roads. The Twenty20 match between Road Safety XI and No Honking XI for the Tata Horn Not Ok Please Cup featured top Indian cricketers – KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal and Suresh Raina among others. The then Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis was the chief guest during the match.
What started off as a campaign on social media, the No Honking initiative gained thousands of followers online, lakhs of citizens pledging themselves to the cause and over 100 well-known personalities, doctors, Bharat Ratnas and Magsaysay awardees, actors and sportsmen including Sachin Tendulkar voicing their support.
Formed in 2019, Majestic Legends Sports Private Limited in its earlier avatar was known as Arnesh Events Private Limited (AEPL). Under the proprietorship of Mr Bhushan Malandkar, who is also a Director of MLSPL, Arnesh Events started off by jointly conducting a massive Road Safety awareness campaign in Mumbai in 2016. A marathon, motorbike rally, blood donation and eye camps were the key elements of the campaign, which received an unprecedented response. The standout event, however, was a Road Safety class that followed after the marathon and bike rally. It resulted in a Guinness World Record for the most number of people participating in a Road Safety class.
Our success would not have been possible without the fans of sport and of course all the celebrities from all walks of life who have joined us in supporting the social cause every time we have approached them. We express our deep gratitude to them and we are also extremely thankful to all our partners and sponsors for encouraging us to chase new benchmarks.

The First Season was held under COVID-19’s shadow in two instalments. The first four matches were held in March 2020 at the Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai before the pandemic forced a suspension. The remaining matches were completed in March 2021 in Raipur with the addition of two new teams, England Legends and Bangladesh Legends. Australia Legends bowed out due to the pandemic, so it eventually became a Six-Team affair.
The Chhattisgarh Government played a key role in ushering the tournament at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. The attendance was reduced to 50 per cent and all games were conducted with strict COVID protocols in place for all players, officials and even the spectators at the stadium.
The Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends clinched the title with a thrilling victory over Sri Lankan Legends in the finals. The Sri Lankan Legends captain Tillakaratne Dilshan emerged as star of the tournament with an all-round display.
