Ajit is a former sportsperson-turned-sports journalist with 22 years of work experience in multiple cities across India with some of the leading publications in the country which included The Times of India, The Indian Express, Mid- Day, India Today and The Statesman to name a few. Ajit, who holds a Master’s Degree in English, now works as an Account Director in Adfactors PR Pvt Ltd responsible for image and brand building exercise, taking care of all their media content and communication related matters and conceptualizing, planning & executing PR campaigns for all Adfactor PR’s sports clients like BCCI, IPL, Star, SFA, PBL, PWL, BKT etc.
As a journalist, he had the rare distinction of covering the ICC World Cup, Indian Premier League (IPL), Champions League T20, various bilateral cricket series, ISL football, Davis Cup, tennis, multi-discipline sporting events like the Commonwealth Games, World Chess Championships and various other sports events.
